Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Electrophysiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Job Details: Work 4/10s schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call and no weekends Closed on holidays Volunteer basis available for emergency or weekend cases Work in 3 electrophysiology suites handling an average of 22 total cases between Cath Lab and EP Assist with ablations, atrial fibrillation, and atrial flutter procedures in advanced EP lab Perform circulating and assisting duties while core staff handles majority of documentation Must have minimum 2 years experience with EP and Cath Lab procedures Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery required ICU or PACU experience preferred EPIC experience preferred Work with St Jude and Webster EP equipment Expected to be a team player and assist where needed in combined unit environment Not required to scrub in procedures Required certifications: BLS, RCES or RCIS COVID vaccine required One week orientation provided Opportunity for extra hours due to case backlog Facility: This medical center operates an advanced electrophysiology program with 3 dedicated EP suites as part of a comprehensive cardiovascular services department.
