Sr Level - $115,200- $141,000
Sr Staff - $138,600 to $154,000
Ranges are annual based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role involves advanced technical and engineering problem solving to support nuclear plant operations, serving as a valuable resource and technical expert to engineering teams. Responsibilities include making technical decisions and possessing deep knowledge in your discipline along with familiarity with relevant industry codes and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Offer in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Provide consulting and subject matter expertise for identifying and resolving equipment and system issues.
- Exercise engineering and technical leadership for programs affecting site operations, both short-term and long-term.
- Execute engineering tasks assigned by supervision using sound engineering principles.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all work performed while adhering to standard design criteria, practices, and codes.
- Conduct independent research and analyses to support various technical projects and programs.
- Propose new equipment, concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, or comply with code changes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Sr Engineer
- B. S. in Engineering or a Licensed Professional Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, including 1 year as an Engineer 3.
- Proven performance in engineering roles, with evidence of being in the top half of the Engineer 3 band over the past year.
- Experience in Commercial Nuclear Power Plants.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Sr Staff Engineer
- B. S. degree in civil/structural engineering or a licensed Professional Engineer.
- 10+ years of engineering experience demonstrating exceptional performance.
- Approval from VP Engineering is required for this classification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineer Registration.
- Advanced technical degree or related coursework.
- Familiarity with the design evaluation and inspection of nuclear or commercial structures.
