Position Summary:

At CardWorks, our mission is to provide customized and compliant servicing and asset management to our clients to produce their desired end-customer experience. The Sr. Oracle Financials Cloud Analyst, makes this possible by working with key stakeholders, including Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Technology teams and third-party providers to develop and administer solutions in CardWorks' Oracle Financials SaaS application.

As part of the Digital Technology and Data team, this role will lead and manage the functional support and configuration of the company's Oracle Financials Cloud SaaS application and relevant modules. This position is responsible for managing application functionality and will troubleshoot functional issues, deploy new application functionality, improve business processes, expand use of automation, and develop procedures and training. This role is also responsible for working with third-party vendors and ensuring that all risk and compliance processes and controls are followed for SOX, SOC1, SOC2 and yearly financial auditing.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure Oracle Financials Cloud (ERP) functionality meets stakeholder requirements and needs
  • Troubleshoot end-user functional issues in supported modules with an expert-level understanding of module and solution interdependencies
  • Configure the application to support new and evolving business needs and requirements by mapping the current state to target state in a team environment involving cross-functional groups
  • Work with key stakeholders to evaluate, develop, setup, test and implement new functionality, modules processes and procedures
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities and recommend enhancements to existing automation, integration solutions and new functionalities
  • Drive innovation and digital transformation within and around the application set using new technologies such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
  • Steer requirements gathering with stakeholders and work with other developers and application analysts to engineer solutions
  • Ensure audit procedures and controls are followed and recommend improvements to the audit control environment
  • Ensure corporate ITIL standards are followed
  • Analyze quarterly updates identifying new enhancements with high potential for business process improvement
  • Test new releases
  • Design and build custom reports using standard application functionality

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Business Management, Information Services, or related field required
  • Over seven (7) years deploying and supporting Oracle ERP solutions with at least five (5) years within Oracle Financials Cloud (SaaS) application (module experience includes but is not limited to: Payables, Expenses, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Receivables, Procurement, Global Intercompany, Lease Accounting)
  • Extensive experience with Accounting principles, processes and closing procedures (month and year-end) - working in or directly with Accounting and Finance departments
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Self-Service Procurement and Purchasing in Oracle Financials Cloud
  • Proficiency building reports using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Financial Reporting Studio and SmartView
  • Experience in EPM Planning and Budgeting, Financial Consolidation or Account Reconciliation services is a plus
  • Certifications in Oracle ERP Cloud or Fusion Financials preferred but not required

Annual Salary Range: $109,138-$121,264
