POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced engineer to perform advanced engineering problem-solving and provide support for nuclear plant operations. This role requires exceptional technical expertise and the ability to make informed decisions in complex environments while ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct advanced engineering tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
  • Perform independent research and analyses for various technical projects.
  • Provide technical expertise to enhance plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work in alignment with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and system issues.
  • Lead and manage engineering projects and tasks.
  • Recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and compliance with regulations.
  • Support design modifications, testing, and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Oversee engineering products to align with safety analyses and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate activities and accountability among engineering personnel and manage related budgets and goals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Over 10 years of engineering experience with outstanding performance.
  • Vice President of Engineering approval needed for this classification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Engineering Registration.
  • Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework.
