The expected salary for this position ranges from $123,300 to $137,000, dependent on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will utilize your advanced technical and engineering problem-solving skills to support power plant operations. You will serve as a vital resource and technical expert to fellow engineers while making critical technical decisions. Your extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles and industry codes will be crucial in this role.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver expert technical support for the operation and maintenance of gas and combustion turbines.
- Lead and implement comprehensive engineering analyses and programs.
- Act as a subject matter expert to help identify and solve equipment and system challenges.
- Exercise engineering and technical leadership for programs that significantly impact plant operations.
- Conduct assigned engineering tasks using established principles and practices.
- Ensure the integrity and precision of your work, adhering to configuration management standards and industry regulations.
- Engage in research and analysis supporting critical technical projects.
- Propose innovative equipment and techniques that enhance performance, reduce costs, and meet regulatory standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. in Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
- Completion of relevant training programs to gain expert knowledge in specialized areas.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with gas turbine technology.
- Knowledge of DCS/PLC controls.
- A proven track record in mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional projects within a plant environment.
