Senior Civil Structural Engineer

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

As a Senior Civil Structural Engineer, you will provide advanced technical expertise for nuclear plant operations. You will be responsible for making technical decisions, utilizing your excellent knowledge in the field and ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
• Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through technical expertise and consultation
• Manage engineering issues and perform engineering tasks as assigned
• Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and compliance with design criteria and codes
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
• Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance and comply with changes in codes or regulations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S. in Engineering and 5+ years of engineering experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer

• Professional Engineer Registration
• Advanced technical degree or related coursework
