We offer a competitive salary range of $115,200 to $128,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses and 401(k) options.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role involves advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations, with accountability for key technical decisions. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge in their field and be well-versed in relevant industry codes and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver technical expertise to guide and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Actively engage to identify and resolve equipment and system issues, providing insight and consultation.
- Manage engineering tasks effectively and efficiently under supervision.
- Apply engineering principles to complete assigned engineering tasks.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in all work, adhering to established design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes while managing configuration.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, and studies in support of technical projects.
- Propose innovative concepts and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction, reduce expenses, rectify design flaws, or align with regulatory changes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Professional Engineer license with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
- A proven track record over at least 5 years, with the recent two years spent in the top half of the Engineering 2 band.
- Demonstrated proficiency in FLS competencies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineer registration.
- An advanced technical degree or relevant coursework.
