Position Overview

The Sales Manager position is responsible for leading a team that generates new sales, works to retain existing customers, and supports long-term growth and prosperity. This position is critical in leading a cross-functional team to achieve Company objectives through successful mentorship and operational excellence.


As Sales Manager, You Will

· Manages the inside and outside sales representative teams and lead generation processes; sets sales targets and implements improvements in the sales administration process

o Inside sales team of 2 to 4 representatives

o Outside sales team of 8 to 10 representatives

· Coordinates department projects to meet deadlines and reviews daily and monthly reports on sales metrics

· Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts to project Company growth

· Liaise with Marketing and Corporate Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales

· Recruits, hires, and provides field training and coaching to new inside and outside sales hires

· Works with the HR team to develop employee engagement and retention strategies to motivate and retain sales team members

· Ensures sales pipeline remains full of qualified leads and prospects

· Monitors employee productivity and motivates the team to reach daily dial goals

· Manages sales team efficiency regular basis

· Track, manage and report sales commissions for review and approval

· Travel locally by car within sales territory to meet prospects, customers, and employees on a weekly basis

What You Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years in a supervisory role
  • Demonstrated successful sales experience
  • Advanced technical knowledge of relevant industry products and services preferred
