Job Summary and Qualifications
The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Collaborating closely with medical providers, you will deliver pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, while advocating for patients to ensure an unparalleled experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patient conditions during admission and throughout each shift, promptly reporting any changes.
- Performing procedures and other functions as directed by the medical provider.
- Documenting care delivered in the patient’s medical record accurately and in a timely manner.
- Administering prescribed medications while monitoring patient responses.
- Maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment related to cardiac and medical-surgical care.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or RN Diploma in Nursing.
