Job Summary and Qualifications
Our Registered Nurses consistently provide exceptional clinical expertise and quality care with compassion. In the Neuro ICU, you will care for critically ill patients requiring advanced medical interventions. If you're ready to embrace the possibilities in your nursing career, join our team that treats each other like family.
What you will do in this role:
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments to determine patient health status, following established protocols.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans aimed at optimizing health outcomes.
- Deliver direct nursing care and oversee the work of non-licensed staff in accordance with established guidelines.
- Provide patient and family education, addressing age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- BLS certification required upon hire and to be maintained.
- ACLS certification to be acquired within 6 months of employment.
Additional Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to be secured within 60 months of start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
- Registered Nurse license is required.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course to be completed within 1 year of employment.
