Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse in our Intermediate Care Unit provides high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical providers, you will deliver pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, ensuring an exceptional experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions upon admission and during shifts, promptly identifying and addressing any changes.
- Execute medical procedures and functions as directed by healthcare providers.
- Document care provided in the patient medical record accurately and in a timely manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients' responses.
- Stay informed about medications, procedures, and equipment used in caring for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Educational qualifications: Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Diploma in Nursing.
