Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Intermediate Care Registered Nurse, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with medical providers to offer pre-operative and post-operative care, advocating for patients to ensure an outstanding care experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patient condition upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes.
  • Performing medical procedures as ordered by healthcare providers.
  • Documenting care in the patient medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Administering prescribed medications and monitoring patient responses.
  • Staying updated on medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma or equivalent.
