SummaryThe Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Threat Reduction and Arms Control (ODASD(TRAC)) has a requirement for management support. The Program Assistant provides administrative support to the Threat Reduction and Arms Control office and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense. This position requires daily interaction with senior government staff. Applicants must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, passion to learn and be a team contributor, good organizational and time management skills, detailed oriented and takes initiative.This position requires in-office support regardless of COVID restrictions do to nature of cleared-space office administration duties.Duties include: Perform general office support duties for correspondence, recordkeeping, supplies, etc. Maintain Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Outlook calendar Support office communications and task tracking processes Maintain office-wide calendars Participate in meetings, as needed, take notes and publish summaries, to include capturing action items Coordinate and support audio visual, graphics, and Video Tele-Conferences (VTCs) setup Schedule suitable rooms and conference lines, invite guests, and verify security clearances Support official communications, including mail, phone calls, and interoffice communications including pickup and delivery of documents and mail to/from the Pentagon Monitor and advise on classified documents security practices Monitor and advise on office physical security practices Monitor and advise on information security practices Provide travel support services for Government personnel Submit visitor parking requests to the Pentagon Force Protection Agency Maintain database of annual DoD training requirements and office compliance Support new employee onboarding, to include acquiring and/or assigning necessary identification and access cards, network and information systems access, workspaces and equipment, and parking passes. Ensures new employees are familiar with applicable administrative and security protocols and procedures.Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred. Final DoD Secret Clearance required.
