Physical Therapy Team Supervisor

Join our dynamic therapy team as a Physical Therapy Team Supervisor! In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Therapy Operations to oversee day-to-day activities within the therapy department. This position offers the opportunity to lead, support, and make a positive impact on patient care while fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and delegation of tasks to therapist assistants and technicians.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, orientation, and training to ensure adequate coverage for patient treatments.
• Maintain effective communication with hospital departments to meet the needs of patients, staff, and the facility.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in your licensed discipline, dedicating 80% - 90% of your work hours to direct patient interaction.
• Empower and mentor team members to improve clinical skills and overall performance.
• Drive department operations, focusing on measurement, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current state license as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• For SLPs: Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is mandatory.
• Minimum of three years of discipline-specific or leadership experience, including at least two years of clinical experience.
• Preference for those active on the Therapy Clinical Ladder or with specialty professional certification.
