SUMMARY:Consistent with the mission and vision of Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County, we are looking for a part-time administrative assistant to support the Human Resources department by performing a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks. You will also be the first person of contact for visitors at our Administrative Office.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Assist in planning and creating information for all staff meetings.Coordinate completion of HR reporting ensuring compliance with deadlines.Organize meetings and HR-related training programs which includes securing meeting location, inviting attendees, updating calendars and preparing meeting materials.Responsible for set up and management of training system in iSolved.Assist in annual insurance open enrollment meeting.Help organize and manage new employee orientation and on-boarding.Assist in preparation and update of Human Resources policies and procedures.Assist in posting jobs internally and externally on career page.Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation.Perform duties of receptionist for the Administrative Offices. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma required with a minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience responding to internal and external inquiries efficiently and professionally.Ability to work collaboratively with teams and individuals at all levels of the organization.Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.Willingness and ability to think proactively and work independently and to take the initiative to identify and act on problems or areas of improvement. Must be detail oriented, have good time management skills and be adaptable to changing priorities based on business needs.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working efficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point, as well as various data base software.
