Description Immediately Hiring Warehouse Swing/Night Shift Lead A well established and growing food distribution company in Oakland, CA is seeking a Working Warehouse Swing/Night Shift Lead . This role is hands on and leadership focused, supporting warehouse operations while supervising and motivating staff in a cold storage environment. Key Responsibilities Manage warehouse operations (Sunday-Thursday) Inventory control, planning, and resource allocation (labor, time, materials) Inventory management (FIFO, cycle counts, box counting) Regular work in cooler and freezer environments Order selecting using scanners Load and unload trailers Operate stand up forklift and electric pallet jacks Train, manage, and motivate warehouse staff Maintain equipment maintenance records Meet deadlines and work under pressure Draft professional emails and company documents Assist with procedures and disciplinary documentation Communicate professionally (verbal & electronic) Work Environment Cold storage (cooler & freezer) Physical warehouse setting Hands on leadership role Qualifications 5+ years warehouse operations experience (required) Food industry experience (preferred) Prior supervisory experience (preferred) Cold storage experience (preferred) Forklift certified (stand up + electric rider pallet jack) Strong leadership and training ability Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Strong math skills (accurate box counting) Ability to prioritize tasks effectively Self starter, quick learner, motivator #J-18808-Ljbffr
