Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans.About the Field Project Manager PositionAs a Field Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate required internal and external interfaces, and perform the project management and administrative activities necessary to successfully complete assigned projects. The Field Project Manager resolves project issues with contractors and other stakeholders that may impede successful execution of project activities. The Field Project Manager understands and has experience in the practical application of project management techniques and methodologies.What You Get to Do:Assemble and lead integrated project team that is aligned with the business purpose of the project.Lead the planning, design, execution, and closing of a variety of projects from inception through completion.Determine appropriate contracting strategy for the required external resources; identify and secure assignment of necessary internal resources.Leading the effort in preparing and securing approval of decision support packages to pass through the gate process.Ensure assigned project staff clearly understand their roles and responsibilities.Monitor the overall project tasks for compliance to project requirements and adherence to the approved scope, budget, and scheduleWhat You Bring to the Table:Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other related field of study from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education.
