15 hours per week between 9 am and 5 pm. Flexibility with days of the week and start time.Responsible for the overall management of the Evidence-Based Programs (EBPs) offered at Greater Springfield Senior Services (GSSSI), including volunteer recruitment, program set-up & monitoring, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place. The Coordinator will also be required to be trained as a Program Leader in at least two programs and will be required to offer at minimum four classes in the course of the federal fiscal year (FFY). Recruit, screen, train, and supervise all prospective volunteer EBP group leaders.Ensure that all qualified volunteers attend all mandated EBP and GSSSI training(s).Assist GSSSI staff with education and related advertisement of all programs.Continuously monitor community course offerings and assist in arranging training sites as needed. Work collaboratively with Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Director to identify new community partnerships and volunteer resources. Assist Program Leaders and participants with technical issues related to in-person and web-based programs. Record program expenditures, program participation, and other related information as required. Work collaboratively with the AAA team to develop policies and procedures to ensure all contractual program obligations are met. Attend all required meetings for EVB programs and Age & Dementia Friendly initiatives. Organize and conduct regular volunteer meetings, as needed.Coordinate with GSSSI staff and community partners in the organization of the annual Western Mass Elder Care Conference. Assist GSSSI staff and community partners with related Age & Dementia-friendly initiatives, including identifying, tracking, and coordinating associated projects as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAn Associate's Degree or at least three years of full-time professional work experience.Minimum of one year of supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership experience required. Experience in program instruction, volunteer management, and public speaking preferred.
