The expected salary range for this position is $156,600 to $174,000, dependent on experience. This comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including a bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Engineering Manager will oversee the engineering function with a focus on accountability, ensuring that station needs and regulatory requirements are met effectively.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage the engineering function to align with station needs and regulatory standards.
- Lead and develop engineering personnel to achieve site and corporate goals, ensuring high-quality engineering outcomes.
- Provide engineering and technical leadership for programs impacting site operations, both in the short and long term.
- Engage in Business Planning, Budgeting, and Business Performance reviews related to assigned staff.
- Act as a senior resource for company-wide engineering initiatives aimed at standardization and enhancement of engineering systems and processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Professional Engineer license.
- At least 5 years of related experience in commercial or military nuclear power plants or other utility sectors.
- Demonstrated technical leadership (e.g., Duty Team Lead, Inspection Lead).
- A strong commitment to teamwork and accountability for achieving positive results.
- Positive Leadership Assessment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineering Registration.
- Advanced technical degree or MBA.
