The expected salary range for this position is $152,100 to $169,000, depending on experience, along with a thorough benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k).
PRIMARY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Engineering Manager, you will leverage your advanced technical and engineering problem-solving skills to support nuclear plant operations. Acting as a resource and technical expert, you will make crucial technical decisions while providing depth of knowledge in your functional discipline. Your accountabilities will include:
- Delivering in-depth technical expertise to manage and implement engineering analyses and programs.
- Consulting as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
- Leading both short-term and long-term engineering programs that impact site operations.
- Executing engineering assignments while ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of your work.
- Conducting independent research and analyses to support various technical projects.
- Recommending innovative equipment or techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce costs, or comply with changing regulations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. in Engineering or equivalent Professional Engineering license.
- Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, including at least 1 year at the Engineer 3 level.
- Proven performance over the last year in the top half of the Engineer 3 band.
- Experience working in a Commercial Nuclear Power Plant environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineer registration and/or advanced technical degrees or related coursework are highly desirable.
