PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee the engineering function to meet the station's needs and comply with regulatory requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the engineering function, ensuring alignment with site needs and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage and develop engineering personnel to achieve high-quality results aligned with site and corporate objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership to fulfill both short-term and long-term engineering program goals that impact operations.
  • Engage in Business Planning, Budgeting, and Business Performance reviews for assigned teams.
  • Contribute as a senior resource for company-wide programs focusing on standardized and enhanced engineering systems and processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Engineering or a Professional Engineer License.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in a commercial or military nuclear power plant or other utility environments.
  • Proven technical leadership experience (e.g., Duty Team Lead, Inspection Lead).
  • Strong teamwork skills, demonstrating accountability to achieve positive results.
  • Positive Leadership Assessment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Engineering Registration.
  • Experience in Design Engineering.
  • Advanced technical degree or MBA.
