The expected salary range is $156,600 to $174,000, contingent on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes a bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Your role will entail advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support engineering operations while serving as a technical expert and resource for engineering teams. You will be responsible for making significant technical decisions and will possess extensive knowledge in your field and relevant industry codes and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide expert technical guidance to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Actively participate as a subject matter expert to identify solutions to equipment and system issues.
- Lead engineering and technical efforts on short- and long-term programs that affect site operations.
- Undertake engineering tasks as assigned by supervision, applying engineering principles effectively.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all work, maintaining proper configuration management and adhering to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
- Propose innovative equipment, concepts, and techniques aimed at enhancing performance, streamlining construction, reducing costs, rectifying design or material deficiencies, and aligning with regulatory updates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 7+ years of engineering experience, including at least 1 year as an Engineer 3. Candidates should have 7 or more years of strong performance (last year in the top half of the Engineer 3 band) with demonstrated FLS competencies, and experience in Commercial Nuclear Power Plants.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineer Registration or an advanced technical degree or related coursework.
