Mid Level - $88,200 - $108,000

Sr Level - $115,200- $141,000

Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position involves advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. You will be responsible for making critical technical decisions and must have an excellent understanding of functional discipline, its practical applications, and relevant industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
  • Offer technical expertise and consultation through hands-on involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
  • Manage engineering tasks effectively to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
  • Execute engineering assignments as directed, applying established engineering principles.
  • Be accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and punctuality of work, while ensuring proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.
  • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
  • Recommend equipment, innovative concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, lower costs, rectify design or material defects, or comply with updates in codes or regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level Engineer

    • B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior Engineer

    • B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of engineering experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework.
