This Engineering role can be filled at Mid-level or Senior Engineer level. Please see the minimum qualifications list below for each level.

Mid Level - $88,200 - $108,000
Sr Level - $115,200 - $141,000
Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer, you will engage in advanced technical and engineering problem solving to support nuclear plant operations. You will be responsible for technical decision-making, possessing excellent knowledge of functional disciplines and their practical applications, alongside detailed knowledge of the relevant industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Deliver in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs.
  • Offer technical expertise and consultation by directly involving yourself in the identification and resolution of equipment and system problems.
  • Take complete responsibility for managing engineering issues.
  • Execute engineering tasks assigned by supervision, applying sound engineering principles.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining proper configuration management, and adhering to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.
  • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
  • Propose equipment, new concepts, and techniques that improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • For Mid-level E02 Engineer:
    • B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years of Nuclear or related engineering experience.
  • For Senior E03 Engineer:
    • B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of engineering experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Advanced technical degree or related coursework.
