Director of Continuous Improvement CPC

Job Summary:

The Director of Continuous Improvement, reporting to the Vice President of Operations, is responsible for driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing program management, strategy, and standardization across multiple sites and disciplines.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Program Management (50%)
* Program management for ODover OpEx model including self-assessment, action plan, and sustainability
* Work with Dover/CPC OpEx Leaders in developing a lean roadmap to improve lean and OpEx maturity
* Track progress to action plan and determine actions, if needed, to get back on track
* Operate with a high-level of cross-functional influence at all levels
* Develop project management format and process to drive resource allocation, prioritization, and KPIs

* Strategy (30%)
* Determine, with the Director of Manufacturing and Director of Planning & Logistics, the lean strategy, roadmap, priorities, resources, and action plans
* Take a holistic view of lean to make sure we are driving the correct priorities
* Present to Executive Leadership Team on lean progress and provide input into strategic plan

* Standardization (20%)
* Drive standardized processes among multiple sites and disciplines
* Drive best practices among multiple sites and disciplines
* Provide guidance on lean initiatives along with providing coaching/training on lean related topics, tools, and principles

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, or technical discipline
* 10+ years experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
* Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

* Oracle experience
* MBA
* 2+ yrs of program management experience

Supervision: 1 direct report

Travel: 10%
