Position Overview: The CDL B Driver is responsible for operating a collection truck safely while adhering to all safety standards and regulations. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements, and delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety equipment and controls are functioning properly.
• Efficiently navigate your designated route while providing timely waste collection services to all customers.
• Operate manual and automatic controls to lift and load refuse while maintaining adherence to safety protocols.
• Engage courteously with customers, dispatchers, and team members to ensure all service needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Identify and tag any unsatisfactory waste containers per company procedures.
• Regularly monitor waste for unacceptable items and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness around collection areas, especially in the event of accidental spills.
• Keep your vehicle clean and operational, performing maintenance checks and addressing any issues immediately.
• Complete required reports, including route sheets and vehicle condition reports, meticulously and honestly.
• Meet productivity standards while providing timely service to every customer.
• Follow all safety policies and actively participate in company safety programs.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction and trust.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks and collections are completed safely and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement.
