CDL Class B Driver

POSITION SUMMARY: Join our team as a CDL Class B Driver, where you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and friendly waste removal services to our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a collection truck safely and in accordance with all regulations. You will also ensure that your vehicle meets safety standards and report any maintenance needs promptly.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct thorough pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
• Safely navigate assigned routes and dispose of waste at designated sites, ensuring customer satisfaction along the way.
• Utilize manual and automatic controls to lift, load, and properly dispose of refuse.
• Engage courteously with customers and dispatchers, upholding our high standards of service.
• Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers as per our departmental procedures.
• Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable materials and adhere to safety protocols during clean-up efforts.
• Maintain the vehicle's operational readiness, including regular cleaning and waste removal from the truck.
• Complete all required documentation, including route and productivity sheets, on a daily basis.
• Meet productivity standards to ensure timely service for all designated routes.
• Participate actively in safety programs and maintain a commitment to safety in all operations.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills, aiming to exceed expectations through professionalism and collaboration.
• Manage time efficiently to complete all responsibilities safely and effectively.
• Demonstrate accountability by following through on tasks and challenges that arise.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement.
