They will support the MRO Buyers and Purchasing Management with all supplier related (indirect) materials' quality and cost saving initiatives.Daily MRO confirmations confirming that the vendors are receiving the purchase orders that are sent over from PurchasingEnter manual purchasing requisitions into the AX system to accurately document the requestsReceive quotes as well as price and delivery changes from suppliers or vendors and disperse that information to the responsible buyersAdd new vendors or suppliers into AXCommunicate with suppliers, team members and management on a daily basisInvestigate late deliveries in order to locate and expedite the deliveries. Use judgment to filter internal issues from supplier related issues, handle internal items, and give supplier issues to buyersInput address and payment term changes into AX so that it is accessible to suppliers and team membersComplete transactions into AX to support the Finance department such as entering new team members into the system and force closing purchase ordersUpdate and maintain the supplier quote database located on the Purchasing shared driveProvide and track monthly safety training for the departmentComplete late order and early order reports to evaluate the performance of the suppliersCompile reports for Senior Management to showcase the status of indirect material purchasing such as the RINGI report, confirmed receipts report, and indirect supplier scorecardsGather data and assist with TEMA Report that will be provided to the company's main customerAssist with preparing for the Purchasing department's Annual Supplier MeetingSupport buyers in daily tracking and clerical dutiesEnsure that all purchase orders are confirmed by the vendor including accurate price and delivery updatesCompile reports that allow Purchasing management and senior management to understand the current performance and status of the indirect materials departmentAnalyze indirect supplier risk and report out negative trends of suppliersRequired Skills and AbilitiesEssential Skills and Experience:Active Listening - giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
